That’s the conclusion of a new report that shows that for every dollar a library spends on staff, the local community gains one.

The report, published by the University of Sydney, looked at what the impact of community engagement on library funding is in Sydney.

The study also looked at the impact that community engagement can have on funding, with a focus on funding for schools.

It found that, of the $5.5 billion in local government funding the Australian Bureau of Statistics estimated that was allocated to libraries in 2015-16, $1.4 billion went towards staff salaries and benefits.

A further $2.2 billion went to programs that provide access to literacy and numeracy training.

While these programs are certainly worthwhile, the report found that the average community engagement fee paid out to local libraries was $7.51 per member, which was below the $10.55 per member recommended by the National Audit Office in 2018.

It’s clear that many libraries in Australia have a poor track record of delivering funding to their communities, especially when it comes to funding programs for students.

For example, there’s no national guidance for funding programs in literacy, numeracy or other skills.

While the National Library and Information Services Association has developed a guide for local government and regional libraries to help them understand their funding responsibilities, this guide does not provide funding for literacy and language services.

The lack of a national funding strategy for literacy programs and the lack of community support for them also means that there is no easy way to get funding for libraries, particularly when it’s coming from government.

While there are a lot of resources out there on how to help libraries, it’s not always easy to find the best way to help people when it is difficult to understand how they can contribute.

One key takeaway from this report is that libraries and other community-based agencies should be given the resources they need to deliver high-quality service to their members and the community.
