JW Online Library to expand its offerings and make its online catalog available in languages other than English
A new JWOnline library that includes a variety of languages will expand its catalog in 2018.
The library, launched last year, is the brainchild of JW’s parent company, JW Interactive, and JW Digital Media, a company that is part of J W Interactive’s parent, J W Media.
The JW online library has already been expanded in several languages, including Mandarin and Spanish, and will also include several languages in the coming months.
JW has said that it will continue to make available content in Mandarin and Japanese and plans to add more languages in future.
A number of JwOnline libraries have been available in other languages, and the company also announced a partnership with the New York Times, the Guardian, and other publications to offer English-language editions of their newspapers and magazines.
Jw Interactive CEO Scott Thompson recently said that JW is planning to expand the library to more languages.
The news comes as JW and J W Digital Media have been battling with the Chinese government over the acquisition of the popular online retailer Taobao.
Last week, the US Justice Department filed a lawsuit against Taoboa over the alleged breach of copyright, a violation of China’s intellectual property laws.
The company has said it is working with the Justice Department and has been working with Taobaos lawyers.
