‘No one was spared’: New Delhi bus driver who lost a leg in accident dies after being rushed to hospital
A Delhi bus conductor has died after being hospitalized after sustaining a severe injury in a crash in the city’s western suburbs on Wednesday.
The accident happened at about 6:30 a.m. at Kumbh Road and Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus in South Delhi.
The bus driver sustained minor injuries in the accident, said police.
Police said that the bus driver, who is in his 50s, was driving a red-coloured Metro Express bus.
The accident happened just before 6:00 a.l. on the MRT line.
The driver was rushed to a local hospital.
